A Community Event Coordinated by:
The City of St. Paul, Ramsey County and the St. Paul Police!
A “one-stop shop” model of delivering services to people experiencing homelessness in our community. Project Homeless Connect began in San Francisco in 2004 and has grown into a national best practice with great potential for getting people off the streets and into housing.
St. Paul/Ramsey County Project Homeless Connect will hold its third event on:
Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the St. Paul RiverCenter, 175 W. Kellogg Boulevard.
This event comes together with the support of many social service agencies, corporate sponsors and community volunteers.
Please help us end homelessness in Ramsey County.
Connecting Our Neighbors with Local Services
At each event we welcome our homeless neighbors (men, women, children and youth) to an event where they can access a wide variety of resources in one place, including:
housing referrals and placement
medical care, eye doctors & mental health care,
benefits advice, & government information,
haircuts, food and clothing,
legal services & veterans services,
Won’t You Connect?
If you have help to offer people experiencing homelessness, here is an easy opportunity to give for the good of your community. In just one day you can help the Twin Cities take a big step toward ending homelessness.
Donate Your Time
Cut hair, greet guests, assist with intake, serve food, fundraise, provide health services or manage donations.
Printing services, hygiene products, bus cards, food, gift cards, socks, t-shirts or financial resources and other essential items. In addition to these every day essentials, we are also looking for donations for the fundraiser itself. We’d like to thank a few of the companies who have already committed donations for the fundraiser:
- Chipotle - They’ve offered to cater the event with their high quality, fresh Mexican food.
- Porta Potty Pros – They’ll be supplying the fundraiser with clean, comfortable porta potties and portable toilets and handwash stations.
Please contact us today if you’d like to make a donation. No donation is too small!
